What to watch for after discharge from hospital
Call an AMBULANCE or go to your local EMERGENCY if you have:

Chest pain that feels like angina or a heart attack

Shortness of breath, not relieved by rest

Sudden, severe headache

Sudden, severe abdominal pain

Bright red stools, or bleeding from your bowels
-
Coughing up bright red blood
-
Fainting spells
-
Heart rate faster than 150 beats per minute with shortness of breath, or a new irregular heart rate

Sudden numbness or weakness in arms or legs
Consider calling or visiting your LOCAL DOCTOR if you have:

An elevated temperature of more than 38°C two times within 24 hours

Extreme fatigue

Pain in your calf that becomes worse when lifting toes towards your head

Acute gout flare-up

Persistent bleeding or ooze from your chest or leg wound

Sharp pain when taking a deep breath

Skin rash
-
Urinary Tract Infection: burning, frequent urination, urgency or bloody urine

Weight gain of more than 1kg within 24 hours

Worsening ankle swelling or leg pain

Worsening shortness of breath
-
New onset of nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea
